(i) The Kingdom of God is present in Jesus and people should therefore make positive response towards Him.

(ii) Jesus demands wisdom and responsibility from His followers as they prepare for His second coming.

(iii) Jesus promised eternal life to those disciples who will have remained steadfast in Him.

(iv) The second coming of Jesus demands that His disciples should endure persecution because they will be rewarded.

(v) Jesus' coming had brought family conflicts due to one's loyalty to Him.
So the disciples should beware.

(vi) Each person should make a personal commitment to follow Jesus.

(vii) Jesus' second coming will be at a time when they least expect Him and so they should be ready at all times.

(viii) Just as people interpret the signs of weather, Jesus' followers should read the signs of the Kingdom present in Him.

(ix) Jesus will establish peace on earth during His second coming.

(x) People should make peace with God and reconcile with other people before Jesus returns.
