iv) Provision of basic needs - during the developmental changes the pre-adolescents require some basic necessities/ sanitary towels/ soap.

v) Sex education - parents to enlighten on sexually issues/ relationships or intimacy during this period which would enable them to saferguard against premaritial sex/ HIV/ AIDS/ S.T.D

vi) Guidance and counseling - on societal expectations which would enable them adjust to the acceptable norm provision of proper nutrition/ balanced diet/ food/ basic needs.
