(ii) Special skills are taught in society through which a person may earn a living for example,weavers, potters and blacksmiths.

(iii) Causes of poverty are determined and every possible step is taken to avert them.

(iv) There is communal ownership of wealth and resources such as land, rivers and salt-licks.

(v) Ancestral land is held in safe custody for future generations.

(vi) Human life is highly valued and the poor are helped with food, shelter and other necessities of life.

(vii) There is mutual responsibility.

(viii) Helping the needy is a natural social responsibility.

(ix) There is mutual sharing and reciprocity where people work together in cultivating.
