An argument is inductively strong if it is improbable that the conclusion is false while its premises are true.

Inductive logic is thus concerned with tests of measuring inductive probability-the degree of inductive strength depends on how improbable it is that the conclusion is false while the premises are true.

This reasoning is applied mainly in science and can be used to:
-Forecast
-Discoveries
-Generalization
-Predictions
