Cathode ray tube (CRT’S) monitor consist of a long glass tube with an electron gun on one end and a screen on the other .the electron gun shoots electron to illuminate the screen and is coated with tiny phosphorous dot .the dot consists of theee primary display colours i.e red,green and blue to make a pixel .while a flat –panel display also known as liquid crystal display {CRT’S},LCD’S are less bulky,consume less power and have little strain effect on eyes.
