i]. Food fortification- it is the improving the food value of a food by the addition of nutrients during processing eg. Addition of calcium and phosphorus in manufactured flours, iodine in salt etc

ii] Rechauffe cookery- this is the use of left over foods or reheated foods. Eg. Left over ugali made into ugali balls for breakfast
