ii) Rooting - Stimulated by stroking infant's cheek/ side of mouth infant turns head towards side that was touched

iii) Sucking - Stimulated by placing an object in the infant's mouth infant sucks the object.

iv) Swallowing - Stimulated by putting milk/ liquid in the baby's mouth baby swallows

V) Moro/ startle - Stimulated by putting infants feet upright infant shows stepping motion

vi) Palmer/ grasping - stimulated by placing an object in the infant's palm infant closes fist/ grasps tightly

vii) Swimming - Stimulated by placing an infant in water

viii) Tonic neck - Stimulated by placing an infant on the back infant forms fists with both hands/ turns head to the right.
