Clinical signs
-Ticks harm their hosts directly by inducing tick paralysis caused by salivary fluids containing toxins, skin wounds susceptible to secondary bacterial infections and screwworm infestations, and anemia and death.
-Movement of animals infected with the ticks can transmit blood parasites like Theileria , Babesia , Anaplasma , and Cowdria species hence causing those diseases.
