This type of evaluation obtains evidence of the 'summed' effects of various components or units in a particular curriculum.
It aims at getting the “total” picture of the quality of the produced curriculum. It is usually undertaken after the project has been completely developed and after it has been implemented school wide.

It focuses on the effectiveness of the total curriculum or the total course within the curriculum.
