2. Freedom of speech and expression - One can express himself/herself freely without fear of intimidation.

3. Through the freedom of association and assembly, people can associate or assemble with each other.

4. Protection of the law - An person must be given fair trial within 24 hours.

5. Freedom from slavery protects an individual from slavery or forced labour.

6. Protection from discrimination - No one should be discriminated against on the basis of race, gender of creed.

7. Protection from inhuman treatment - No one should be subjected to inhuman treatment, punishment and torture.

8. Protection from arbitrary search or entry - One protected against compulsory search.

9. Freedom of movement - One can move from one place to another unless the area is prohibited.

10. Freedom of conscience/worship - One is free to think and worship.

11. Right to own property - This guarantees legal and lawful ways of acquiring property.
