Can be controlled so that the child pays attention to a selected stimulus.

(ii) Motor problems.
Fine grip of the pen can be controlled through physiotherapy and exercises can help child walk straight.

(iii) Communication disorders.
Therapy can be very effective in eliminating the disorders or minimizing their impact on the later speech and language.

(iv) Deafness.
Deaf infants who are taught a manual communication system in the first year of life do much better as adults.
