• Physically separate conflicting groups
• Apply bureaucratic rules and regulations. This will enforce a code of behaviour that can lead to the suppression of conflict
• Limit group interaction.
• Encourage confrontation and negotiation. This requires face to face meeting of the conflicting groups or individuals.
• Bring in third party consultants
• Rotate members between groups so that members of one group learn the problems the other group faces. It will also lead to establishment of personal bonds between members of various groups and thereby reduce conflicts.
• Use inter-group training i.e. bring several groups together for training in order to develop permanent that encourage groups to work together.
