(ii) The biblical concept of sin gives an opportunity for repentance and forgiveness while in the traditional African view people appease God through sacrifices so as to be reconciled to Him.

(iii) The Biblical account emphasises the personal nature of sin while the African one stresses on the social aspect of sin.

(iv) In the African view, evil is an act committed while the Bible one is a sinner by nature.

(v) In the Bible, sin is mainly as a result of moral choices people make whereas in the traditional African view, evil is attributed to external forces.
