(b) Gravity causes a greater concentration of auxins to diffuse and accumulate on the lower side of roots ; High auxin
concentration on lower part of root inhibit growth on lower part of roots while low concentration of auxins on the upper side promotes faster growth ; hence the root bends downwards ;
