(i) There must be a series of bars whose heights represent the number of subjects obtained in a particular score.

(ii) Scores must be on horizontal axis.

(iii) Exact limits must be used/ specific whole numbers.

(iv) There must be no space/ gaps between bars.

(v) The histogram must have a clear title.

(vi) The axes must be clearly labeled.

(vii) Frequency must be plotted on vertical/ Y-axis.

(viii) Horizontal axis has a scale similar to any other graph in that each interval represents the same number of units.
