leading to wrong requirements being observed
-The work being observed may not involve the level of difficulty or volume
normally experience during that period of time.
-The need to be on the site where the activities are taking place consumes a lot of time.
-Some activities may take place at odd times causing a scheduling inconvenience for the analyst.



i)Data on past events can not be got.
ii)Observation may be affected by weather conditions e.g. mist and fog.
iii)This method is ineffective for people with visual disability.
iv)It is tiresome and expensive method as it involves a lot of travelling because physical presence is required.
