1;In unpolar transisators, there is only one type of carrier,holes in p-type channel and electrons in n-type channel.While in bipolar transistor both holes and electrons play part in conduction.
2;In unipolar the input is reverse biased results to high input impedance.while the bipolar transistor input is forward biased making it have low input impedance.
3;In unipolar no current enters the gate of JFETs making it a thousand times smaller than in BJTs transistors.
4;A unipolar transistor uses voltage on the gate terminal to control the current between the drain[collector] and the source [emitter].while the bipolar uses current into its base to control the large current between collector and emitter.
