Early scientific inventions: inventions in the British textile industries pioneered the revolution arising in the British industries. Inventions such as flying shuttle by John Kay, water frame by Richard Arkwright, spinning mule by Samuel Crompton among others laid the basis for industrial growth
Wealth: Britain had accumulated large amounts of wealth from her trading empires and colonies. She had colonies from where she obtained minerals and agricultural resources for industries.
Large population: Britain’s large population availed a market for the industrial products. It further provided cheap labor for the industries
