Resources: Germany had large mineral resources such as coal and iron ore. By 1900, Germany was the highest iron and steel producing country in Europe. Her rich agricultural resources in addition to the mineral resources helped her to boost her industrialization
Energy resources: the country obtained industrial power from her rich coal resources, exploitation of water for hydroelectric power, and development of resources such as nuclear, solar and organic matter
Availability of labor: the large population of the country further acted as a source of labor both skilled and unskilled. Skilled labor was enhanced by the education system which trained people in technical skills
Availability of capital: the affluent German entrepreneurs were willing to invest in industries. The government and banks provided loans and prerequisite help to industrialize Germany.
