Unification: Germany was united into one state in 1871. The unification saw Germany grow into a powerful nation within Europe by 1900. The second unification helped widen the scope of industrialization and the market widen after involvement in the first and second world wars divided the country
Foreign support: after the Second World War, Germany received foreign aid to revive her economy from the United States of America and the Soviet Union
Second unification: in 1990, the east and West Germany states had a second unification which helped widen the scope for industrialization
