(i) The local authorities operate the policy guidelines formulated by the

meetings to give guidance on government policy.
(ix) The financial records of all local authorities are audited by the officers of
the central government
(x) Local authorities submit their loan applications and intended revenue
sources to the central government through the minister of local
government.
(xi) The central government gives grants/ financial aid to local authorities for
their operations.
