a) The earth has three layers.The crust,the core and the mantle.the crust is about 74-75 km deep and it consist of oxygen,silicon,aluminium,iron,calcium, magnesium,potassium and sodium.the second layer is the core which is the central part has two part,inner core-this is about 1220 km and the outer core which is about 2180 km thick and its made of nickel-iron alloy.the third layer is the mantle which is composed of silicate rocks rich in magnesium and iron.it is about 2890-2900 km deep.
b)-Earth is a planet while sun is a star
- Earth is a solid piece of rock while the sun consist of gases
- Earth is habitable (life is supported on earth) while sun is not habitable
