The correct answer is (C) 11

The median is the middle number after arranging the numbers in ascending order
The total marks = the mean x total number of pupils
=12x 10 =120
Total marks for 8 pupils =13+11+10+9+10+18+11+10
= 92
Marks scored by the remaining 2 pupils =120-92 =28
Each scored =28 ÷2 =14
Median =9, 10, 10, 10,11,11,13,14,14,18
The middle numbers =11, 11
