Outbound logistics encompasses all of the resources, capabilities, and processes
required to distribute the final product or service. Examples of outbound logistic
items are warehousing, packaging, shipping, delivery vehicles (and maintenance),
order picking, finished goods inventory control, distributor and customer supply
chain management (CRM – customer relationship management).
