- Note that output voltage of the amplifier is not equal to the sum of input voltages, but rather is proportional to the sum of input voltages. In this case, it is equal to one-tenth of the input sum. Picking random values of V1, V2 and V3 will show that this circuit always provides an output voltage that is one-tenth of the sum of input voltages.
