-In Makkah revelation was addressing a smaller community in Madina revelation was addressing larger community

-The themes in Makkah were few i.e Tawheed, denounced shirk etc while in Madina the Makkah themes remained but broader themes were introduced on complex issues e.g Muamalat, spiritual issues, law and legislations

-Revelations in Makkah was addressing an ignorant community while Madina revelation was addressing as enlightened community with an established faith
