road transport is limited to certain area. this is true for all weather roads because they are expensive to build and to maintain. in some areas the weather does great harm to they extent of washing them away hence cutting supplies to these areas. kenya needs a lot to be done especially to reach the productive part the country.
the main limitation to supply chain performance is inadequate storage facilities at the point of supply and the destination points. this affect the quantity as well as the quality of goods to be supplied.
the other limitation is the toll being paid from one point to the other when goods are in transit. this discourages the merchant or make the prices to be high.
paper work along the roads as one make payment for the goods may affect he goods and thus some may expire if they happen to perishable for example the flowers
