(i) Blood group O universal donor but cannot receive blood from other blood groups
because of antibodies A & B in plasma would cause agglutination; As a result there
is high frequency of blood group O so that transfusion can occur within the group;
(ii) Blood group AB universal recipient but cannot donate to other blood groups; As a result there is low frequency of the blood group AB;
