(i) Jesus did not come to abolish the Law but to fulfill it.
(ii) He respected the Law (He told the leper to go and show himself to the Priest)
(iii) He demonstrated that love for God and one’s neighbour puts one right with God, rather than the detailed observance of the law.
(iv) He summarized the whole teaching of the Law Books to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and soul; and love your neighbour as yourself” (Luke 10: 27-28)
