a)Making muddy contaminated water safe for drinking without using chlorine and storing it.
b)Dry cleaning and finishing a polyester tie.
c)Cleaning a melamine cup.

a)Making muddy contaminated water safe for drinking without using chlorine and storing it.
- Leave the muddy water to stand for sometime for the mud to settle at the bottom of the container.
-Decant into into another container leaving the mud behind.
-Filter using a clean cloth
-Boil the water to kill micro-organisms.
-Put the boiled water in a clean container
-Cover the container with a clean lid

b)Dry cleaning and finishing a polyester tie.
-Collect equipment and materials
-Shake the tie to remove loose dirt
-Work very fast
-Pour adequate amount of dry cleaning liquid in a small basin
-Knead and squeeze the article until clean
-Squeeze out as much liquid as possible
-Hang to dry in a well ventilated place
-Allow sediments to settle to the bottom of the dry cleaning liquid
-Pour the liquid back into a storage can and cover tightly store for next use
-Press the tie
-Fold and store in a clean dry place
-Clean equipment and materials used

c)Cleaning a melamine cup.
-Soak in cold water that has been added a bleach
-Cleaning in warm soapy water with a sponge sisal fibres.
-Rinse in warm clean water
-Final rinse in cold water
-Dry with a clean dry tea towel Buff with a non fluffy cloth and store
