Apparatus; concave mirror mounted on the mirror holder, a metre rule, screen and a distant object.

Set the apparatus such that the mirror faces the distant object.
Adjust the screen infront of the mirror until a sharp image of the distant object is focused on the screen.
Measure the distance between the mirror and the screen using a ruler. This is equal to the focal length of the mirror.
