Prepare wooden frame with a depth of 1cm, cover the base with plywood
-Prepare sketchs of the composition on paper.
-refine the sketch in outlines to depict the theme
-put the composition in colour.
Carefully cut coloured glass and tiles or paint them with desired coloures. Glass may be crushed.
-Prepare cement and plaster. Pour into the mould.(frame)
-Cement /plaster may be dyed as desired.
-Carefully embed the tesserae on the plaster
-Work fast as cement may dry, splash water often to ensure this and aid in bonding
-When dry, leave the mould or remove it.
-Finish and present.
