You need the following;
1. Electroscope
2. positively charged conductor

Bring a positively charged conductor close to the cap of the electroscope until it is in contact with the cap. The negative charges will be attracted to the positively charged conductor, upon coming into contact, the negative charges are neutralized while positives are repeled to the leaf. Remove the positively charged conductor, and the positive charges will spread all through the electroscope. This makes the electroscope positively charged through contact method.
