(a) Sin x = Cos 60°
X + 60° = 90° (complimentary angles of sine and cosine)
X =90° – 60°
X = 30°
(b) Sin 4y = Cos 5y
sin 4y = sin (90° – 5y)
4y = 90° – 5y
9y = 90°
Y= 10°
