Vein- are minerals which form in cracks and joints in rocks when magma solidifies in small
quantities, while Lodes-Mineral that forms from solidification of magma in cracks and joints in large
quantities.

OR

Lodes are large deposit of minerals occurring in cracks/crevices of rocks while veins are small deposits of mineral occurring in cracks/ crevices.
