First Method
Max.area=10.35×17.25=178.5375
Min.area=10.25×17.15=175.7875
Actual area=10.3×17.2=177.16
Absolute error={max.area-min.area}÷2 or
Absolute error={(max.area-actual area)+(actual area-min.area)}÷2
Absolute error={178.5375-175.7875}÷2 or
Absolute error={(178.5375-177.16)+(177.16-175.7875)}÷2
Absolute error=1.375
% error=(absolute error÷actual area)×100
% error=(1.375÷177.16)×100
% error=0.7761%

SECOND METHOD
Absolute error in 10.3=0.1÷2=0.05
Absolute error in 17.2=0.1÷2=0.05
% error={(0.05÷10.3)+(0.05÷17.2)}×100
% error=0.7761%
