Explain six challenges faced in the use of educational resources in the classroom

1.Teachers negative attitude. Teachers in general seem yet not to realize that teaching with words alone is very tedious and ineffective. Some find it difficilt to make plan for use of educational resources hence leaners fail to acquire the knowldge and skills.

2.financial problems. Lack of finances is a major set back in the acquisition of educational resources particularly high technology resources such as computers.

3.ineffective use of resources. Lack of proper planning preparation, presentation make educational resources useless.

4.lack of training in high tech most teachers are not given training opportunities by training institutions on use of high tech resources.

5.social cultural bias little attention is paid in the production of audiovisual resources to meet social cultural consideration of the local community. Teachers should select appropliate resources that are from cultures of leaners so as not to cause conflict. For example showing christian bias visual display films to muslims leaners may cause conflict.

6.lack of managment skills.
Teachers who leave colleges have basic theoretical knowledge but lack experience in managing educational resources. As a result educational resources get wasted and do not benefit the learner.
