-Balance the metre rule on the wooden wedge.
-Put the 50grams mass on the 40th centimetre mark from the centre.
-Balance the 100grams mass by sliding it slowly from the centre outwards on the other side of the metre rule.
-After it has balanced, calculate moments of a force for each side.
-The metre rule will be at equilibrium only when the moments of a force are equal.
