i. Psychomotor/physical
Psychomotor/Physical development is the process by which children learn to use and control their bodies as they experience changes in size, shape, and stature while becoming more mature physically.

ii. Cognitive/mental
Cognitive development is the process by which children learn to construct thought processes, including remembering, problem solving, language use, decision-making and it is related to the physical growth of the brain.

iii. Language
Language development is the process by which children learn to understand and use language to communicate during early childhood.

iv. Emotional
Emotional development is the process by which children learn to recognize, express, and manage feelings at different stages of life and to have empathy for the feelings of others and it is largely affected by relationships with parents, siblings, and peers. The core features of emotional development include the ability to identify and understand one’s own feelings, to accurately read and comprehend emotional states in others, to manage strong emotions and their expression in a constructive manner, to regulate one’s own behavior, to develop empathy for others, and to establish and maintain relationships.

v. Social
Social development refers to the process by which a child learns to interact with other children and adults and how the child develops friendships and other relationships, as well as how a child handles conflict with peers.

vi. Moral
Moral development is the process by which children learn to see the difference between right and wrong in intentions, thoughts, actions, and behavior.

vii. Spiritual
Spiritual development is the development of the personality towards a religious or spiritual desired better personality.

viii. Aesthetic
Aesthetic development is the process by which children learn to appreciate beauty in art and creativity.
