Community empowerment program refers to a series of instructions, description or explanations the community like to engage in.
Community empowerment program integrates the insights ranging from the community critical awareness, human relations, training in group work, organizational development, social analysis and the concept of transformation.

1. Critical awareness- This provides philosophy of education and development and a very practical method of getting actively involved, breaking through apathy and developing critical awareness of the causes of problems.

2. Human relations training- This is essential in creating awareness in how and why they individuals behave from attitudes in an organization. These skills are essential to every organization to ensure unity, commitment, perseverance, accountability and effective exercise of authority.

3. Organizational Development- This is a program that entails training the community members on how to audit their existing organization structure to adequately meet currently operation requirements. Organization requirements involves examining the effectiveness of internal communications, efficiency of decision making and the organizations ability to organize change. A change agent might suggest the following:
i) Training and management of community members.
ii) Creation of new working groups.
iii) Restructuring the community or individual responsibilities.
iv) Re- arranging communication patterns.

4. Social Analysis- This involves observation of economic, social, political and religious aspects of society and critically relating them to the behaviors of members of the community, how they influence or they affect the members.

5. Transformation- This involves educating the members of a community on ways and means of changing the whole life of the community or making the community acquire a new face. It involves changing all the aspects of a community .e.g. of a political, social, cultural, physiological, economics and psychological.
