-It is a good source of pantothenic acid which aid in carbohydrates, proteins and lipids metabolism and energy production under stress.
-Cure bladder and kidney troubles and urination.
-However, Maize grain is deficient in essential amino acid, lysine and tryptophan. To overcome this deficiency, quality protein maize (QPM) with sufficiently higher quantity of lysine and tryptophan has been developed.
