1.Organization and Management of the Approved School Curriculum
-Giving directions to the school to offer a suitable approve and diversified curriculum according to the Ministry guidelines.
-Ensure teachers prepare schemes of work and develop appropriate instructional materials.
-Check periodically pupil’s books, projects and practical work, assignments to ensure regular marking and systematic use in guiding learning.
-Teach lessons on the school timetable.

3.Management and Motivation of Human Resource in the School

-Delegate duties and responsibilities to other staff e.g. Deputy HODs etc..

-Supervise, appraise and prepare appraisal reports on performance of staff
-Facilitate registration of school candidates
-Ensure and nurture discipline among staff.
-Create an environment for staff training and development
-Involve send outs in school management.

4.Management and Maintenance of the School Plant and Equipment

-Plan and prepare on incremental maintenance manual for all physical facilities, equipment and materials including textbooks in the school.
