There are arms of government namely the legislature or parliament ; executive or the civil service and the judiciary. The legislature comprises of the president; elected members; nominated member and the speaker and the attorney general. The executive comprises president as the head of the cabinet of which all ministers are members. The civil service is the executive arm of the government responsible for the implementation of the programmes which the government of the day has set out to accomplish.
