1.À la carte is a French language loan phrase meaning "according to the menu", and used in restaurant terminology as reference to a menu of items priced and ordered separately, rather than selected from a list of preset multi-course meals at fixed prices

2.Table d'hôte is a French loan phrase which literally means "host's table". It is used as restaurant terminology to indicate a menu where multi-course meals with only a few choices are charged at a fixed price. Such a menu may also be called prix fixe

3.Special Menus are menus that are prepares specifically for special occasions or events , for example holiday gatherings, bridal and baby showers, graduation parties, christenings, ladies luncheons, etc.
In each menu there is plenty of food to comfortably serve the number of guests specified, although one may plan on a few extra servings. One can be advised on portion sizes and quantity of food offered in each menu.
