Common interests may work beyond the confines of formal relationships. Such informal relationships are more effective in controlling and regulating the behaviour of the individuals to achieve the enterprise goals. Effective leadership increases the understanding between subordinates and administration and promotes collaboration among them The Leader should develop voluntary assistance from his assistants by consulting the group in framing the policies and the line of action and in initiating any fundamental changes in the primary structure of the task. Leadership ought to also use some power whenever necessary, to implement the policies. The leader should give understandable, all encompassing, and lucid instructions to his subordinates.
