As an art, teaching calls for inspiration, intuition, skills, imagination and innovativeness/
creativity. It is an instrument that needs improvisation, spontaneity, style, pace, rhythm and
evaluation. A good teacher is ever lively and inventive in his teaching and constantly seeks ways
to avoid featureless classroom routine. This implies being dynamic and responsive to changes in
the curriculum, methodology of teaching, research and instructional media. The teacher therefore
has to know where to get new knowledge, how to get, and how to help learners understand it.
The perspective presents teaching as a system with several components that must work in
harmony with one another.
