DISADVANTAGES
• The charcoal causes dirt, dust and ashes and the kitchen is dustier than with other fuels.
• Charcoal also releases soot, and carbon monoxide in its smoke. This causes smog which affects the heart and lungs.
• It takes a long time to light.
• It is difficult to control the heat.
• There is need for storage space for the fuel.
