1.Difficulty in making observation
This is because in most cases observation is subjective. Interaction of observer and subject can modify their behavior (what is called hawthorn effect).
2.The complexity of the subject matter
This one comes about as a result of large number of variables to be covered in research. The variables themselves are also complex in themselves are also complex in nature. There is also complexity in interaction among variables.
3. Difficulty in controlling all variables.
Some variables are beyond researcher’s control such as extraneous variables and these can interfere with research results.
