Importance of a lesson plan
• Guides on what to do, in what order to do it, and what procedure to use in
teaching the material of a lesson.
• It assists in the logical delivery of the content
• Acts as a form of reminder of what a teacher is going to teach
• The lay-out makes a teacher consider factors which he might otherwise ignore or
skip.
