Define the nature of the Community

Answers

Francis
Any co-existing individuals belong to a species type. A species has individuals or a population with similar characteristics - density, age-class structure, the rate of mortality and immigration that determine the total behaviour of a species. Activities at the population level have a consequence for the next level up the ecological ladder.
A. community is defined as an assemblage of species populations which occur together in space and time. One of the important features of community ecology is to understand the groupings in which species are distributed and how this can be influenced or caused by interactions between species and the physical environment. Organisms within a community interact with each other in processes of competition, mutualism, parasitism, predation and symbiosis which are described below
